Myofascial Unwinding

Myofascial Unwinding is a gentle and intuitive approach using a sequence of holds to promote restorative changes within the fascia and allied structures. Creating subtle adjustments based on sensory feedback, your body will drop into a parasympathetic state (the opposite of fight or flight), and will start to create shifts in the compensatory and protective holding patterns developed due to the experience of stress, trauma, injury and illness.

You can remain fully dressed for the session. It is especially helpful when people are touch-sensitive or would struggle to tolerate a Myofascial Release Therapy session. Aspects of Myofascial Unwinding can also be combined with other fascial and lymphatic therapies. Myofascial unwinding can be particularly helpful for:

Neurological Conditions, e.g. stroke, parkinsons.

Nervous System Dysregulations

Chronic Pain

Fibromyalgia

Hypermobility

Trauma
